Xyron & Imaginisce Hop

(click any pic to enlarge)

Xyron is teaming up with Imaginisce all week, and I made this project using their Childhood Memories collection.  I used a 7 Gypsies photo tray as my base.   The collection has loads of sweet papers and embellishments. I wanted to use as many photos as possible so I decided to put my attention to a single journaling block and keep the other five spaces for pictures. I loved choosing the embellishments from this collection, especially that sweet little Polaroid camera for the date.

I used the new Sizzix Picture Wheel die with Imaginisce’s rich red paper, and topped it off with Tim Holtz’s fabulous Idea-ology clock, gears, and spinners.  I used my Xyron® 9” Creative Station to adhere all the pictures and the journaling block to the tray.

The  bottom left photo was accidentally torn so I stamped on the rich red paper from the collection with a favorite border stamp to conceal it.

I raided my ribbon stash to decorate the handle and called it a day.  These photos were taken 8 years ago… time sure flies. I can’t wait to hang this in our family room.

Thanks for the visit.  I’ll be back on Monday with my second project using this collection.  Be sure to visit the Xyron blog for loads of cool projects this week!

Good save on the torn picture. We never would have guessed. I like the idea of putting the photos in the shadow box. You could even put little seashells and other mementos of the day on the little ledges. Fun project. Thanks.
