What can you do with ONE piece of Ranger 12X12 Manila CS?

My goal was to make as much as I could from the 12X12 sheet I colorized Monday with inks, paints, color washes, and of course… distress inks.  Here’s what I came up with:

Two full size tags, one ATC, one card, several mini tags, a flower for a card or scrapbook page, and a few heart embellishments.  I had so much fun making all of this and letting my mind go free to see what I’d end up with!

This is all from the 12X12 sheet of Ranger’s manila cardstock that I had heavily inked, sprayed, painted, stenciled and stamped on Monday:

Add-ons were wax from my Melting Pot (strips on the card are melted), several stencils from Julie Fei-Fan Balzer (The Crafter’s Workshop), two scraps of blue text paper, some Studio 490 Clearly For Art Modeling Film (heated and used behind hearts), a few brads, three letter stickers (‘fly’), and some black rick rack and ribbon.

I also used several embossing folders and dies from Tim/Sizzix and Cuttlebug. The black crow and hat stamps are from Dyan Reaveley and the silhouette woman is from Dina Wakley.

I’ll add the card to the Gingersnap Creations Wax challenge. I cut those parts of the large page into strips, dry embossed them, them dipped into melted wax in my Melting Pot. I heated and shaped the hearts, added the sentiment stamped on a scrap and attached the hearts to the card with Glossy Accents and glue dots.

Here are few more pics:

I ran the left tag through my Vagabond with a dry embossing folder, then inked the raised parts and heat embossed the whole thing with clear powder.  The right tag is completely embossed with clear powder and the sentiment is treated the same way, separately.

that ‘love you’ stamp is Ali Edwards

Why not go ahead and try to make all you can from a 12X12 piece of Ranger’s manila cardstock?  I’ve used plain manila folders, but they are not as sturdy nor anywhere near as ink-friendly.
