Wendy Vecchi Challenge – Heart Wall Hanging

This week’s challenge at the Wendy Vecchi yahoo group is to use a heart and a piece of junk jewelry on a wall hanging.   I painted a chipboard album page with a red pepper paint dabber (Ranger) and then  used a script stamp and some hearts and dots for background.  I embossed a tag with a TH embossing folder.  Painted that red pepper after I ran it through the machine (probably would’ve been easier to paint it first!) and tore it, then used gel medium to adhere it to the chipboard.  I thought I’d like the torn edges exposed but I didn’t, so I covered them with the black rickrack. Got out my crop-o-dile to fit oversized eyelets in the chipboard and added a few punched hearts and some metal words.  The heart and sentiment are studio490 stamps  by Wendy Vecchi, and the little starm charm is my substitute for junk jewelry. The big border on top is a Stampers Anonymous stamp.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!
