This week the Wendy Vecchi yahoo group has a 2-part challenge: use a watch face and tissue tape (and of course, at least one of Wendy's Studio 490 stamps). I pulled out my art journal and inked the page with several distress inks, then used three of Wendy's stamps to build up the backgroud.

I used washi and tissue tapes, stencils, and clock parts from my stash. The clock parts reminded me of the sun so I added Ranger's black enamel accents as rays going towards Wendy's silhouette woman.

I love that stamp. I didn't get a great impression so I went over her with some black paint. I see now I could've had a lighter hand… she looks like she's been working out a bit too hard on her left arm! The sentiment is also a Studio 490 stamp and it goes with the time theme.

Thanks so much for the visit. Hope you have a great day!
