Weekend Teaching in Massachusetts

The wintry storm didn’t hold us back and I was able to teach all three workshops as planned last weekend in Massachusetts.  I want to thank Sharon and Lisa at Right at Home Scrapbooking for their hospitality. What a great store with an amazing classroom space!

Unfortunately the storm hit while I was on my way home on Sunday evening, and I had to stop and get a hotel room for 2 nights. That’s how long this snow ‘event’ lasted in the Northeast…. the snow literally did not stop from Sunday until Tuesday. Crazy!  The silver lining was that if I had to be ‘stuck’ somewhere, at least I had a car full of art supplies.

So many lovely artists came out to play, and everyone put their own unique spin on the projects.

There were several who were brand new to this type of class, and several who are teachers as well.

It was great to meet people I know from online, and to make new friends as well.

The crowd’s enthusiasm was contagious. One person in particular (Beth, you know how you are) amused us all so much as her mind was kind of blown away by the possibilities of the products, the die-cutting machine, embossing folders, etc.  Such a fun spirit!

This last shot show Sam, who works at and teaches at the store, as well as Sharon, the owner, and Lynn Kopas, an online blogging pal who also teaches at Right at Home.
