Art Journaling with Postcards
I used post-its to cover each stamped image so I could continue to stamp without inking over each earlier impression.
Using parts of stamps adds interest
I stamped three extra postcards, five postmarks, and two postage stamps onto manila card, then added them to the page. I’ve colored all the pieces with Distress Inks using an Ink Blending tool and edged the sides with black Distress Paint.
I’ve created a Distress Ink Blending Checklist for newsletter subscribers. I’d love to send it to you. Click here to get your copy!
I cut a mask from Tim Holtz’s Picture Wheel die and used Archival Ink through this and several other stencils. Once my inks were dry, I finished up with gelatos all over. Love getting them wet and blending them. The smaller words (“enjoy the”) are ancient rub-ons.
