Twelve Tags – Day Two

2011TimsTag#2I liked Tim Holtz's tag so much today that I barely changed a thing.  You can see his piece here.

I used different kraft paper and garland, but that's about it.  For me the best part of seeing Tim's new tags is remembering the various uses of things I have, like cutting a small bit of the ornate on-the-edge die to form the  base of the tag at left.

I love that detail, and haven't used it as much as I could.  Of course you should still play along whether you have what he's using or not… it's all about improvising and having fun using what you have on hand.

Thanks for visiting!

Wonderful tag! Tim’s is so fantastic that I can understand why you didn’t want to change it up much. Love the idea of die cut canvas and can’t wait to get started on this one. That bit of red bling really lights up the card. Another lovely tag!

Love your tag, and that you gave the reindeer an eye! So he can see the tag he’s a part of. How kind of you :).
