Tuesday’s Tutorials, Week 9 ~ Featuring Jessica Sporn

Welcome to Week 9 of my Tuesday’s Tutorials blog series, where every Tuesday I share a link to an art tutorial created by different artists from around the world. This has grown from a recently completed year-long blog series called Tuesday’s Texture. You can find out more about the transition from one series to the next in this post.

Tuesday's Tutorials (Marjie Kemper Weekly Blog Series)

This lovely creation comes from Jessica Sporn who lives in New Jersey. Jessica and I met years ago at Art Is You Mixed Media Art Retreat, and since I’m in New York and she’s in New Jersey, we are lucky to get together frequently.  We are also both teaching workshops at Art Is You’s Tenth Anniversary Retreat, this Fall in Connecticut.

Jessica has an amazing eye for color and I’m always drawn to the faces she creates. Click here to watch a how-to video from Jessica that’s not to be missed.

I hope you enjoy this weekly feature and that it introduces you to techniques that inspire you, and to artists who may not yet be on your radar. I’ve combined all the art from the two series in one Photo Gallery for easy viewing. You can also see all the art from the two series on my Pinterest Board dedicated to this topic.

Thanks for visiting! If we’re not already connected, please sign up for my newsletter or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, or Twitter. You can also follow the blog via email or with BlogLovin.

Have a great week!
