Tuesday’s Tutorials, Week 6 ~ Featuring Anne Redfern

Welcome to Week 6 of my Tuesday’s Tutorials blog series, where every Tuesday I share a link to an art tutorial created by different artists from around the world. This series has grown from a recently completed year-long blog series called Tuesday’s Texture. You can find out more about the transition from one series to the next in this post.

This aged treasure box comes from Anne Redfern (AKA Redanne) who lives in Bollington, Cheshire, England.  Anne is one of the most lovely bloggers I’ve not yet met (but feel like I have after much communication over many years via blog comments, email, social media, etc.) and I’m confident if we are ever on the same side of the pond, we will hit it off in person ‘thick as thieves.’  When I saw how Anne made this, I was amazed. Her creativity with Eileen Hull’s (square) Altered Trading Block die is truly impressive. Be sure to visit Anne’s beautiful blog to see the full tutorial.

I hope you enjoy this weekly feature and that it introduces you to techniques that inspire you, and to artists who may not yet be on your radar. I’ve combined all the art from the two series in one Photo Gallery for easy viewing. You can also see all the art from the two series on my Pinterest Board dedicated to this topic.

Thanks for visiting! If we’re not already connected, please sign up for my newsletter or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, or Twitter. You can also follow the blog via email or with BlogLovin.

Have a great week!
