Tuesday’s Tutorials, Week 46 ~ Featuring Heather Jacob

Welcome to Week 46 of my Tuesday’s Tutorials blog series, where each week I feature art tutorials created by different artists from around the world. This series has grown from a year-long blog series called Tuesday’s Texture. You can find out more about the transition from one series to the next in this post.

Tuesday's Tutorials Weekly Blog Series (Marjie Kemper hosts a different artist every week with their own art tutorials)

This beautiful canvas comes from Heather Jacob, who lives in Australia. Isn’t it lovely? Heather was featured here with another project back in October 2014, for Tuesday’s Texture Week 19.  I just love her work.

The way Heather has framed the photo on this canvas is art in itself. And the photo is pretty spectacular, too. So many beautiful elements and layers with a wonderful aged appearance! Be sure to visit Heather’s blog to see the full tutorial.

I hope you enjoy this weekly feature and that it introduces you to techniques that inspire you, and to artists who may not yet be on your radar.

I’ve combined all the art from the two series in one Photo Gallery for easy viewing. You can also see all the art from the two series on my Pinterest Board dedicated to this topic.

Lovely. The layers add such interest. And who knew a bit of corrugated cardboard could look so good.
