What is The 100 Day Project?
The idea is to do something creative every day for 100 days and to post it publicly on Instagram. The 100 Day Project was started many years ago by Michael Bierut. Later, it was organized by Ella Luna, and now it's run by Lindsay Jean Thomson.
What's my connection?
I enjoy the challenge and the ‘push' to consistently create each day! This is my fourth year participating in The 100 Day Project. It's a lot, but I always feel great when I complete it. And if you fall behind, that's okay… you can catch up and finish when you're ready.
What's my theme for 2021?
I'm going to draw 100 faces for this year's project. I'll share the photo on Instagram with the designated hashtag for the entire project (#the100dayproject) as well as a unique hashtag of my own project (#the100dayprojectmarjiefaces). It's important to create a unique hashtag so your 100 projects will be visible in a single search.
Any past examples?

Any advice for someone considering joining?
Yes! Go for it. Creativity feeds the soul and the act of consistently creating will light you up. Keep it simple, limit it to no more than 15 minutes a day, and keep your supplies in a basket or box so it's easy every day to get started. Let me know if you're participating, too, and drop a link to your Insta in the comments so I can see!
I hope you'll follow on Instagram as I get going on this new challenge. I can't wait to get started.
