Tattered Floral Die – Let’s Go Fly a Kite


Hello! Here's my entry for Tim Holtz's Tattered Floral challenge and the numbers challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show.  I used lots of my favorite stamps and stencils and inks cut 40 flowers using the smallest of the four flowers on the die:

I used an Idea-ology clock, gears, and spinners, along with trinket pins and Glossy Accents to seal in some tiny JB stickers:

    Oh, the whimsy! I can hear the soundtrack from Mary Poppins “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” playing in the background. This is marvelous, amazing, and inspired. Such a fun take on this challenge.

    Wow it’s really snowy over there. here it was nice weather for a few days and we all thought the spring was here, but starting tomorrow we going back to snow and freezing weather.. nooooo!

    This is awesome, Marjie! Love the background of the kite and those flowers look amazing. The clock, gears and spinners make a such a funky stack. When I read the sentiment I laughed out loud…so fun. Even the kite tail is detailed and extends the theme. Love it!

    Love this floral kite. Who wouldn’t want to fly this baby it’s so cheery. A foot of snow on the ground, I laughed when I heard on the news that now we will have daylight savings time and we can begin to till the garden, – I think they should go fly your kite! xox
