“Are You There?” Tag Tutorial (Video)
Tag Art Tutorial
Welcome! Please join me today for another 5-minute video tutorial. This one is a tag art tutorial made with DecoArt Color Misters, stamps, stencils, embossing powder and washi tape.

Click the video below or watch it on YouTube. If you enjoy, please give it a ‘thumbs up' and subscribe to my channel.
I really enjoyed working with the Color Misters and creating this tag. The misters blend beautifully and can easily be extended with water.
People frequently ask what I do with small things like this tag, once the project is complete. If it's one I really like, I either hang it somewhere in my studio or office (I have lots of white boards covered with tags and ATCs in between other items), or I use it as a bookmark or a gift tag.
I've been using this one as a bookmark this summer. What do you do with your small projects?

The stenciled face is striking, isn't it? That's a great example of the stencil doing the heavy work. It's an Andy Skinner stencil that comes with four different faces.I'm always glad to use up some Washi tape, too. I swear, it multiplies all on its own.

Mixed Media Art Membership Group
Have you heard about the Mixed Media Art Membership Group? It's a monthly membership that I host that includes facilitated learning through a Project of the Month (with closed-captioned video instruction), Themed Challenge of the Month, a live Zoom Create-Along Session where we all work on our art together, and lots of resources such as the Project Vault, Technique Vault and Resource Library. Best of all is the supportive and inspiring community we enjoy in our private Facebook Group and the gated private forum on the site where I host the videos and resources.
The group is only open for new members a few times a year, so please add your name to the waiting list to be the first to know when the doors open again. Click here to add your name to the waiting list.

Marjie, This is fabulous. I love how you so effortlessly create with bold colour. I have to say, that is such a wonderful sentiment.
I really don’t keep anything I create.

I always love your use of colour and those misters certainly are beautiful colours, they really set off the black stamping so well. I do much the same as you with my tags, the Tim ones go in a special file and the others go on a ring holder or get displayed on a board (only the ones I really love though – lol). Thanks for sharing the great video ‘how-to’. Anne xx
Love it, Marjie!
Marjie – I love this beautiful tag – lots of awesomeness!
I really like the sentiment on this one. It invokes so many different things. Love the tag too!
Pretty piece, fun video. Usually collect them and never quite know what to do with them all. Occasionally rip them and add to other things.
Lovely tag Marjie, love the bold black against the hot coloured backdrop. Tracy x
