What a pleasure to be part of Nathalie Kalbach’s Stencil Hop showcasing the Circuit stencil she designed for StencilGirl Products! Today I am hopping with Nat, Stephanie Schütze, Birgit Koopsen, and Samie Harding. Links to all of their blogs are listed below.
When I first saw this on Nat’s blog I knew it was a ‘must have’… those lines that can be positioned any which way do wonders to draw your eye around the page. Click on any photo to enlarge.
I kept thinking of pathways and roads when I was considering how to use the stencil, so I started by adhering an old map into my art journal. The lines of the map play nicely with Nat’s cool design. I spritzed it with Dylusions Ink Spray (Vibrant Turquoise) and later used a few of Ranger’s blues (Salty Ocean and Manganese Blue) as well.
Love this Stampers’ Anonymous stamp (the hand reaching out of the page is also by SA). I used black paint through Nat’s stencil in some places, and the Manganese Blue ink through others.
Cut up a rub-on that said “One Size Fits All” and added sticker letters, framed with white pen accents.
My third hand is another oldie stamp made by Stamp Camp. I stamped it on paper glued to grunge board, then cut it out and tied the reminder string on the finger.
Want to win this stencil? Nathalie’s having a giveaway. There are 5 of us on this hop. Nat will give you an entry into the giveaway for each blog you comment on, so you have five chances to win (commenting ends midnight EST on August 6th.) Here are the links to the hop participants:
