I started with a coat of gesso followed by some Golden fluid acrylics. While the page dried, I stamped and cut out the carousel and the little girl (Stampers’ Anonymous).
After painting the carousel, I added a flag pole from a Sizzix die and attached my tag with thread and a fun little button that’s been waiting for its purpose. Lots of stenciling adds interest to the background.
The sentiment is an old favorite from Catslife Press, stamped with jet black archival ink and heat embossed with clear powder.
Thanks for visiting today. I’m leaving Wednesday to teach at ArtWine Retreat so this post is it for me this week. I’ll be back on Saturday with a project for the next Compendium of Curiosities challenge.
Are you on Facebook? If so, check out the photo Linda Ledbetter posted on my Facebook page (and the pages of every team member) of the incredibly generous PRIZE package Tim Holtz & Mario Rossi donated for this week’s challenge (and you still have 4 more days to enter…nudge, nudge.)
