Tag art with Tim Holtz clock mask (Marjie Kemper)

I'm loving the theme this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show as they've given us loads of leeway… make anything but a card and you're good to go.

Which way will it take you?

I played with Ranger's archival inks… these are pale ochre and cranberry.  Having them out on my table reminds me to use them more often. I've usually thought of the archivals as top inks and distress inks as base/bottom, and though I do use them both ways, I realize I don't use the AIs as bases as much.

Note to self:  Change that.

I used Tim's clock mask and Wendy's (Studio 490) number background and sentiment stamp.

Added some of Tim's metal gears, brads, and spinners, a bit of clear embosing powder and some black soot distress ink.

What are you up to this week?

Making any dreams come true?

Go ahead!

Have a great day.

Great tag- love the colors. I like the idea of leaving the inks out where you are working so you will use them more…i make color swatches and leave them close by for encouragement too.
