Tim Holtz taught the entire last day and we learned so many ways to use the entire line of Distress products ~ Inks, Stains, Embossing Powders, Stickles, Paints, Crackle Paints, and Markers. I learned a ton about the Paints and Markers in particular, and can now use them in many more ways than I have so far… what fun to learn all those techniques!
Patti Behan works at Ranger and kept everything running so smoothly… she is super organized and kept us on track with supplies to get through all the techniques each day. She's was so nice and patient with all of us and I'm so happy to have finally met her.
Here's Mario with Key from South Korea. Mario planned all the food & beverage and let me tell you, you won't go hungry with him around! He took incredibly good care of us. Thanks, Mario!
This is one of my absolute favorite pictures from the whole weekend – Jim Hankins and Ellen Vargo getting a bit crazy with their Distress Embossing Ink Pads. It smells a bit like Cinnamon and when they were sniffing it I thought it looked like Jim was taking air hits from a scuba mask… rescue breathing or some such thing… and Ellen reminded me of the TV show Get Smart from back when I was a kid, as if she was talking into the Ink Pad like it's a phone. Back when phones had two parts.
It was a pleasure meeting Karen from France, who I've corresponded with on the All Things Tim Yahoo Group for years. She's delightful and I wish we'd had more time to talk. We'll have to figure out another meeting someday!
Loved meeting Susan Weckesser from Canada! She designs for Unity stamps and I loved her creative designs.
Fun evenings out… here's Annette Green with Karen from Australia. Wish I could see Karen's store some time!
And me with Jim Hankins, with his shirt much inkier as the day wore on (which is of course, a good thing).
Ranger sent us home with a very generous product box and I would like to send these 3 items to someone who can use them. I actually do have a craft scrubbie at each sink in my house so I wholeheartedly recommend that product in particular. And you can't go wrong with an extra Mister and stamp cleaning pad.
Just leave a comment and I'll pull a random name on Monday. If you'd “like” my Facebook page, I'd appreciate it, but it's certainly not required. Open to all countries… I'll ship anywhere.
Thanks for the visit!
