Our Creative Corner – Red & Aqua Challenge

OCC-Red&Aqua  This week’s challenge at Our Creative Corner is to use red and aqua, with an added touch of pink if desired.

I used blue patterned paper and Tim’s dress form stamp.  I stamped it twice with fired brick distress ink (once on the PP and once on a piece of pink scrap) and heat embossed each piece with clear powder.  I cut out and mounted the bodice on top of the first stamping, then masked it before stamping over it with a few large Stampers Anonymous stamps (flourish and ledger border).

Tim’s ticket die by Sizzix (mounted on foam tape) is the base for my sentiment, which I framed with a Technique Tuesday stitches stamp and a bit of bling.  I inked around all the edges and used a stencil brush to pounce some fired brick all around.
