Journaling – Persevere

Marjie Kemper art journal 02282014

A quick journal page using Dylusions Ink Sprays, Pan Pastels, Ranger’s Archival Inks, and Wendy Vecchi’s white Embossing Paste. That gorgeous 9X12″ background stencil is called Large Hall and was designed by MaryBeth Shaw (StencilGirl Products.) I saw it last Sunday when I taught at The Ink Pad and it was in my basket before I’d even exhaled. LOVE it!!

If desired, click photo to enlarge image. Umbrella Man (Tim Holtz/Sizzix) has been dry embossed with a Sizzix texture fade and I stood him on top of a torn notebook edge, which I sprayed with Dylusions and then dry embossed with another texture fade. The alph letters are Tim’s label letters, and the diamond and circle stenciling is done through one of Michelle Ward’s multi-pattern designs.

I’ll link to Art Journal Every Day and Simon Says Stamp and Show.

Thanks for the visit!
