Journaling and a Winner

Hello and welcome.   A quick journal page today made with paints, sprays, inks, stamps and stencils.  Everything didn't play the way I'd hoped, but it's only a page, so all is well. Tomorrow I'll turn it and start a new one.

The base has a few layers of paint, and then I spritzed the loose paper frames (Heidi Swapp) with Dylusions Ink Sprays. I edged the frames with Ranger Distress Paint before attaching them to my stamped sentiments and to the journal page.

I'm happy so many of you (90 people!) were excited about my Thanksgiving Giveaway.  I left it up to you to decide whether the prize went to one or was shared by three people. The majority voted that one winner receive all three colors, so she/he could have the experience of learning how to blend the colors and finding out what Pan Pastels are all about when used in multiples. I used and this number came up:

Claudine, I hope you don't mind receiving all three (grin).  Just send me your mailing info and these Pan Pastels will be on their way.

Many thanks for everyone's visits and comments.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh, love this….and I love this line from your post: ” Everything didn’t play the way I’d hoped, but it’s only a page, so all is well. Tomorrow I’ll turn it and start a new one.” That’s a good lesson for my life right now. Thanks, Marjie!

Claudine is one lucky lady! Receiving all 3 pans will allow her to play and blend. Now, while I do really like your art journal page today (love those stamps), your comments remind me that everything I create need not be a masterpiece! It’s important to remember that, and not become discouraged when what one creates is not a duplicate of what you saw as the end result. Thanks for today’s lesson, Marjie! It’s an important one!
