I'm in the midst of a huge studio reorganization but when I saw the challenge yesterday at Simon Says Stamp and Show, I decided to cut myself some slack and play a bit in my art journal.  I pulled out some favorite oldie stamps and some brand new stencils and got busy.  After I stamped my fellow (he comes in 5 parts), I colored him with Distress Markers and ran him through my Xyron® 9” Creative Station.

I really like using this re-positionable adhesive which allows me to move things around repeatedly when when making placement decisions.  It also comes in a permanent cartridge, for when you're positive you don't want to move something ever again.

The stencils are a combination of new ones from Tim Holtz and Seth Apter… and they're fabulous!  Now  back to sorting and rearranging…

Thanks for visiting.

There was I thinking, “that’s a nice clown, not as scary as some…”, and then in the next picture he’s all in pieces being fed into a mincing machine… thanks for that (yes, I know it’s not really a mincing machine)! Great pages, all the same… love those intense blues.

    Hi Marjie
This is really gorgeous. The circus theme is really fun. I love what you have done in the background, and the blue really offsets the jester. I love the vintage images. I think there is something going on between Blogger and WordPress because I have noticed that comments from people with WordPress dont show up on my blog as well and the converse. I think your work is so stunning though so I will keep trying to comment and I have you listed in my blogfeed which gets delivered to my email inbox so I do get to check out what you are doing even if my comments go astray. Thanks for popping by my blog today!
