This is Week 2 of the Grungy Monday challenges led by Linda Ledbetter at StudioL3We're taking our cue from a video on Ranger's website of a neat technique Tim Holtz did with Multi Matte Medium.  You can see Tim demo the technique here.  When I think about how many foam stamps I have plus how many I can make from my dies…. I think I need a day or two just to do that!  I had a few tries before I went with this one as my entry.  Once you figure out how much MMM to use, it's actually quite simple!

I'm also putting this up at the Anything but a Card challenge at Simon Says Stamp & Show.  I used the gadget gears die for the technique (made a stamp of that one during last year's 12 Tags) and then covered the tag with various distress inks before applying a few stamped images (Tim's) in black Staz-on.  Roughed up the edges of the tag with tim's distressor and inked those with black soot followed by black Staz-on.  An ideology word charm + brad + ribbons = good to go.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I appreciate your taking the time to visit.
