How I Get Repinned Over 3,000 Times Every Week using Tailwind

Pinterest ~ the Tailwind Scheduler

I've been using the Tailwind scheduler to schedule my pins for the last three years, and my content is consistently re-pinned more than 3,000 times every week.

Tailwind is really easy to use, and it's a huge time saver.  I schedule 5-10 pins per day, and I can schedule out loads of content in a single sitting.

I use the Tailwind Chrome extension. Here's a quick video tutorial showing how I use Tailwind:

If you prefer, you can watch it on YouTube.  Please give me a ‘thumbs up' over there and subscribe to my channel if you like what I've shared.

Here's a look at my Tailwind dashboard.  This is my weekly schedule.  I can drag and drop any of those pins (as shown in the video above) quite easily.

Tailwind has several different dashboard views. This one is a more detailed look at each pin, as scheduled day-by-day:

I love the analytic info they provide about pins from my domain.  It's easy to see at a glance what's been pinned from my site, and to re-pin it with the click of a button.

Thanks for this Marjie, you are always so kind in sharing your tips with us! Like Caroline below, I am not a business, I just create art for the joy of creatig (and sharing), but of course we all love to attract visitors to our sites (most of mine also come from Pinterest). One question I have after watching your video, was where do you get the pins you schedule? Are they just your own work, or repins from others? Maybe you make that clear in your 10 tips that I just subscribed to, if not, is that something you could explain, maybe in another post? Thank you for always sharing your insites and beautiful work!

Thanks, Astrid! What a great question… I get my own content from my blog and Instagram, and other people’s content from a variety of sources: blogs, Tailwind, and Pinterest. I’ve subscribed to a number of blogs (including yours!) via BlogLovin’ and a few I still get individually through RSS feeds. Tailwind recommends related content when I schedule pins, which is a boon! Lastly, sometimes I just go to Pinterest and browse. Pinterest will show “More Like This” when you’ve pinned something.

Thanks Marjie, I spent some time today trying to figure it all out :o) Maybe I would suggest to mention to people that use Chrome (as I do) to add the Tailwind Chrome extension to make it easier to schedule pins from Pinterest. Apparently they do something similar for Firefox. Thanks again for this great post, I tried tailwind before and could never figure it out, and now I am getting there! xxx

Thanks for that suggestion. I just updated the post to reflect that I use the Chrome extension. I’m so glad this helped you, Astrid. Have a great day!

I’d never heard of this, very interesting. I follow YOU everywhere, except Twitter & I pin from you, probably daily. I congratulate you on your numbers, kudos. I feel this is more for promoting your business/courses ~ essential for what YOU do. I’m not at this stage in my journey, I pin a lot more from others. If my dream ever becomes a reality, I’d consider something of this ilk for sure. For now, I shall pin your post on my “help for when I set up my business” board. Tyfs. Caroline 😊

Thanks so much, Caroline. I appreciate your re-pinning. And here’s to your dream becoming a reality. I’m rooting for you!
