One of my favorite kinds of journal pages is Silhouette Art Journaling. There are several stencils on the market with women in various poses, but there are also endless possibilities in magazines.  The one below is a shape cut from a fashion magazine.  Once I had it cut out, I laminated it with packing tape.

Silhouette Art Journaling - Marjie Kemper
I'm excited to be a guest blogger today at Eclectic Paperie, along with fellow blogger Melody Schwartz.  The theme at EP is this Eleanor Roosevelt quote:  “A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.”

That's inspiring!
Women are certainly known for keeping calm and carrying on.  One of my favorite teas has “Calm” printed on the tags so I used that in a few places on the page.  I intended the eyes to be symbolic as we must also be watchful for ourselves as well as our families, and friends.

Great to see you doing so well! Your creativity has really taken off!
