Dyan Reaveley Classes!

What a great time I had in Massachusetts this week taking three classes with the lovely and quirky Dyan Reaveley.  It was my first time visiting Ink About It, but surely won’t be the last.  Each class had a fun group of crafters, and a few diehards did all three. I got to meet two blogging friends for the first time, one for classes and lunch, and one for coffee before I left yesterday. Thanks, Rene and Ali!

We learned loads of techniques using Dyan’s spray inks and paints.  I laughed when I saw one classmate unpacking a box of baby wipes…. um…. notsomuch for this class:

Dyan also brought her art journals, which were mesmerizing. I was just captivated by them and couldn’t believe all the different ways she uses materials (especially her stencils, which I now own all of!) I really could have sat there for an entire day poring over her books and wanting more.  She is so talented and so generous in sharing tips and tricks… what a wonderful artist!

Here’s a pic of a canvas project we made using Ranger’s paint:

I’ll probably add a sentiment but wanted to just pop it in the post as is. If you have a chance to meet Dyan and take her classes, don’t miss out.

Thanks so much for the visit.  Have a wonderful day!
