Distress Inks are one of my favorite go-to art supplies. I love the way they blend and especially how they react to water.
I made this tag with Distress Inks, stamps and stencils, keeping the ‘lazy days of summer' in mind. I'm taking time this summer to slow down and rest. How about you? Is your schedule any different over the summer than the rest of the year?

Here's a close-up of the sentiment. The word stamp is from a cool Hashtag stamp set from Tim Holtz. I've anchored it to the tag with an Idea-ology ornate plate.

Hi, Marjie, love your tag! I need to do more of this–both the art and the breathing!!
Ohhhhhmmmmm on the Breathing, and I hear ya on more art, Kay. The only benefit of summer winding down is more time for art.
Great tag with a gorgeous inky background! Perfect example of the simplicity of summer! No, not slowing down this summer, unfortunately! Hugs!
Thanks, Sara. I hope you had a terrific summer!
Hard to take a deep breath in this humid heat. Have to make it an internal ahhhhh. xox
