Darkroom Door’s Creativity Quote

Kemperjournal09082013Love this new Creativity quote stamp from Darkroom Door… I used it on a journal page that’s been stamped and stenciled with lots of paints and inks.  I also used some of Tim Holtz’s Remnant Rubs and Wendy Vecchi’s black embossing paste.  The large compass is another new release from Darkroom Door… it goes so well with Tim’s compass Rub.

I’ll add this to the  Anything Goes challenge at Frilly and Funkie and the Forgotten Things challenge at Our Creative Corner.  That ledger stencil in the background had gone missing and was recently found. Love that one, and I’m glad to have it back in my playlist.

The next two weekends I will be teaching classes in Connecticut (9/14 – Great American Stamp Store), New Hampshire (9/20 and 9/21 – Eclectic Paperie), and Massachusetts (9/22 – Absolutely Everything).

Click here: Marjie’s Teaching Schedule for details and project videos.  I’d love to meet you at any of these classes. Thanks for the visit!

I love all of your pages. What type of paper are you using, manila cardstock?

    • Marjie Kemper on September 14, 2013 at 7:36 am

Thanks! That spread is in one of Dyan Reaveley’s art journals which has a mix of manila and matte card… I don’t recall which pages I used but they are gesso’d in any case so it wouldn’t matter on this one.
