Compendium Challenge #13 – Spritz & Flick Distress

This week’s challenge at Studio L3, sponsored by Simon Says Stamp, is based on Tim Holtz’s Spritz & Flick Distress technique.  It’s found on page 42 of the Compendium of Curiosities II.  I used the S&F technique after coloring the base of my tag, but once I added lots of additional stamping it became a bit hard to see.  Trust me, though… it’s there!

I used mustard seed, barn door, and three different orange distress inks, plus Monarch Orange and Jet Black archival inks.  Lots of Tim’s stamps and some of Dyan’s too.  I stamped Dyan’s  hearts and arrows onto separate manila card stock, and cut and colored them before attaching to the tag.  I used Tim’s Idea-ology letters and attached a tiny tag with jump rings and a velvet ribbon.

I’ll also enter this at Simon Says Stamp and Show, which has no rules/anything goes this week.

Here in the U.S. our summer days are flying by and I really do appreciate your taking the time to stop by.  Many thanks.  Hope you have a great week!

Your comments are very much appreciated!
