Canvas: Soar

So….. last month I started making things for Etsy and this weekend I'm going to have a table at a local holiday crafts show.  This is one of the canvases I've made.  It's 5″ X 7″ and 1 and 1/4″ deep. Here's another view:

This one has TIm Holtz's tissue wrap, Dyan Reaveley's Ink Sprays, and black paint.

I'm worked up about selling in person… many ideas and feelings about that.  We'll see, I guess. Thank you for the visit!

    You will SOAR.
Art with affirmations (I always view such words as affirmations) are so popular and combined with your amazing colour combination and layers your art will be so popular.
Have Fun and remember to tell us all about it.

how cute is the lock as the butterfly body! I’m getting a wild clue that you love green and yellow. I could be wrong, but I don’t know …..

  16. kathy/NorthCarolina on November 29, 2012 at 1:10 pm

Mmmm…I love this one…the greens and yellows are so invigorating. Great idea to use the pin for the butterfly body! And I like the 3 black zigzag lines…they tell my eyes where to look. Beautiful! I hope you enjoy your craft show. I just got back from a small one. It went OK, especially since I didn’t have a lot of “stuff.” I did my big one at the beginning of the month and people were so kind. I sold my very first art canvas….and then sold all but one of them. Exciting! Sending you good thoughts for a great show!
