ATC with Texture Fade & Diffuser
Welcome! As part of my self-imposed challenge to create #halfanhourofart whenever I can, I made this Artist Trading Card (ATC) today using some favorite Distress Inks and Sizzix diecutting products.
Feel free to join us over on Facebook in the #halfanhourofart Group. It’s a very supportive community and all are welcome.
How to create this ATC
I started out with a blank artist trading Card (ATC) which I ran through my Sizzix Vagabond using a Diffuser. Diffusers are a great tool because they prevent the embossing folder from embossing certain areas. If I had not used a Diffuser, the entire card would be fully embossed.
There are a lot of ways to Diffusers as can be seen by watching this video Tim Holtz shared a few years ago. Tim has some excellent tips in the video.
I stamped the sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink. You can frame this or any other project by inking around the edges with both brown and black Distress Inks. Stenciling and light stamping adds interest to the background.
