Artsy Index Cards
I'm participating for the second year in a row in The 100 Day Project. This creative initiative, now in its fourth year, was started by Elle Luna. Searching their hashtag (#the100dayproject) will show you the wide variety of people and projects participating.
Participants create a unique hashtag for their work, which makes it easy to see all of it in one form. My hashtag is #100daysofartsyindexcards. The idea is to do something creative every day for 100 days. We share our daily projects on Instagram.
I've used mostly Distress Inks, Distress Oxide Inks, and Dylusions Ink Sprays for my first 20 days:
Of course I also used a ton of stamps and stencils. I love layering products to create the illusion of depth. I've stuck with a horizontal orientation to start, but I think I will do a set vertically down the road. Goodness knows, I have 80 more opportunities!
I'm still at the honeymoon stage where it's fun posting every day. I remember last year getting pretty tired around the midway point! It's really fun, though, to be able to look back when it's over and see all one hundred projects. Last year I did #100daysofsmallsquares.
