Art Journaling with Gesso and Gelatos

Art Journaling with Gesso and GelatosHello, friends. This is the first page I made in my art journal after soaking in Donna Downey’s awesomeness last weekend. I took two of her classes and learned so much. I made this page with gelatos and gesso.

Additional photos and all the details are posted over on the Eclectic Paperie blog today.

Thanks for visiting!

  4. Hello. This post was really fascinating, particularly since I was searching for thoughts on this subject last Wednesday.

  5. Fabulous use of stencils and also the use of tags and what an intense shade of blue (with those purple tones) you managed to achieve.
Marjie, I would like to send you Seasons Wishes and hope you and your family have the most beautiful Christmas.
Thank you for all your support and encouragement, it does mean so much.
Eagerly await your artful creations in 2013.

  13. Mmmm, yummy Marjie. I did a far simpler type of thing with blank playing cards but you’ve taken it to a whole other level with the layers of stencilling. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas, hugs Jenny x

  17. I left a comment over at Eclectic Paperie Marjie – wonderful piece of work. Sorry I’ve been absent for a while, I’ve been ill again and just had to lay low – I’ve done very little crafting! On the mend now and feeling able to do more thankfully.
I’m going to have a break over Christmas so in case I don’t see you blog for a while, I’d like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and good health and success in 2013.
