Art Journaling with Dylusions Ink Sprays

Hi, there!  Popping in today with an art journal project I made this week with Dylusions Ink Sprays. Dylusions Ink Sprays in Art Journal (Marjie Kemper)jpeg

This journal is a square shape, so kind of awkward and long when used for a 2-page spread. I used  Dylusions Ink Sprays, stamps, stencils, paint, ink, chipboard, paper, and die-cuts in it.

Dylusions Ink Sprays are one of my favorite mediums to play with, since the colors blend so beautifully.  You'll find lots of other Dylusions art journal spreads on my site here.

This rich purple and blue color blend seemed to call out for a metallic counterpart.  After thinking about my options, I pulled a few preprinted tickets from my stash and added some paint and ink to them.

Free Facebook Art Group

Let's connect! Feel free to join my free Half an Hour of Art Facebook Group where we encourage one another to spend at least 30 minutes per month being creative, whatever that means to us.  We are just about to celebrate our fourth year together.  I can hardly believe it!  It's a low-key, drama-free, supportive group of people.  I'm all about celebrating small steps, so I'd rather see process photos there than finished art.  For instance, the photo just above this text (the painted tickets) is one I shared there last week.  That small step was one part of making this art journal, and it was certainly accomplished in less than 30 minutes.
