Kemper art journal 09132014

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of taking Dina Wakley's art journaling classes at The Ink Pad in NYC. Dina had her newest stamps and stencils for us to play with, along with her heavy body Ranger paints. These three pages are from my 9X12 Dylusions journal.  Funny they are all in blues… I was working in two journals that day and my other pages weren't blue, but it looks funny seeing these three all together.

I made 5 pages that day, but I can't seem to put on my hand on my small journal (so much for my claims to organization here – heck, that was about knowing where my supplies were, not my actual journals!)

I love Dina's teaching style and had a terrific day with her and my artsy pals at The Ink Pad. They're just now celebrating 16 years in business, and I've been going there for 15 of them. It's really important to support your local stores.  Here's a shot of me with Dina and Karen (a real Ink Pad regular!):

Color class Saturday

Check out The Ink Pad's class calendar – they have a ton of great classes, and I'm delighted to be returning to teach there on Saturday, November 8th with a brand-new class called The Kitchen Sink Collection Folio.

Thanks very much the visit!  If we're not already connected, please sign up for my newsletter or follow me on Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, or Twitter.
