Art Journaling with Courage

I recently purchased a few sheets of unmounted Teesha Moore rubber stamps, and these gals are some of them. Aren’t the images wonderful?  With all the kids going back to school this  month, I thought Tim Holtz’s ‘courage’ sentiment went perfectly, especially for the poor girl with the bullseye on her chest!

The background is a combo of paints, inks, and stencils. I only took one picture while making this spread, and that was to show how I grounded the girls so they seemed to be standing on a floor, rather than floating on the pink background.  I just covered their feet with scraps of post-its and stamped one of Tim’s ledger border stamps on top of them.

Thank you for the visit today.  If you’d like to see more art journal pages featuring Teesha’s images, I have over a dozen pinned on my Art Journal board on Pinterest.
