Back today with an art journaling spread using Xyron products with some of my favorite Sizzix dies. I’ll have my CHA recaps starting this week, but wanted to share this project first.
I started by spraying Dylusions Ink Sprays onto Ranger’s Manila card stock, and die-cutting shapes with the Sizzix Washer border die, and Artful Dwellings die. I ran these through my Xyron® 9” Creative Station ~ love how I can apply adhesive with this machine, even to intricate diecut shapes like the Washer border.
I made a background in my small Dylusions art journal using paints, inks, sprays, and stencils.
I attached my houses to the pages, along with the leftover borders from the Washer diecut and a random small strip. (I decided to save the main Washer diecut for another day.)
I thought the houses looked a bit plain, so I masked each one off with scrap paper and added some interest with stamps and stencils.
Using an Ink Blending Tool (Ranger) is a great way to add ink with stencils.
I diecut the letters for “home” and ran them through the tiny sticker maker that comes with Xyron’s Teresa Collins Adhesive Kit.
A few stamped arrows (stamped with black paint) and some tiny letters to spell out “There’s no place like…” finished this spread off after I sat the little gal (Stampers Anonymous) on that scrap on the left.
Thank you so much for the visit today! Be sure to visit the Xyron blog for more ideas, and stay connected with me through my newsletter, Facebook, YouTube, or Pinterest.
