Art Journaling ~ Never Hurts to Ask

Art Journal 11/25/2013

I've been thinking about this art journal page, and I suppose that's what made me come up with the sentiment for this one.  Good things often happen when you take the initiative to ask.

The background is layers of Dylusions Ink Sprays and paints, stencils, stamps and ink.  This is the large Dylusions journal, and the stenciled letters are 5″ tall. I think they're meant for mailboxes ~ I got them at the hardware store.

I rarely remember to use my white paint pen, so I was glad I spotted it on my desk as it really made the large stenciled letters pop. The little letter stickers are from my stash. I'll link today to Unruly Paper Arts' Reader Art Quest, and to Creative Every Day.

Thanks so much for your visit today.  To all who celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you a happy one!  Please pop back over the weekend as I'm having a Thanksgiving Giveaway starting on Friday.

Also please sign up for my newsletter – I can't believe it's time to write the December issue already!

I am always falling in love with your backgrounds, Marjie–so full of color and texture and depth–and this one is no exception. That said, I have to add that your superb backgrounds never command center stage. They are there to support and add interest and rob neither your images nor sentiments of their proper place. Another magnificent spread, my friend!
