Art Journaling ~ Feeling Green

Marjie Kemper art journal 030515

It’s been a long while since I entered a challenge and when I saw the color theme this week (clover, or any green) at Simon Says, I wanted to hop right on board.  I find a prompt can often be just what I need to get started on a page.

I didn’t take many pics, but here’s one before the focal points came along. I created my background with Distress Inks and added some stamped/cut parts of a large collage stamp.  I think the art doll is one of Teesha Moore’s  designs but the block has no label and I am not positive.

There’s more stamping and stenciling in the background, and the sentiment is from a favorite stencil designed by Carolyn Dube for StencilGirl Products.
