Art Journaling ~ Speak Up
Dylusions Ink Sprays

I used a combination of colors for my background. The bold gal image is from this stamp set: Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions 8.5″X7″-Surrender. Blue links are affiliates and used at no cost to you. I love the XL size – she's as big as my hand and a great size for art journaling. After stamping her on manila cardstock, I colored and cut her out before adherding the image to the page with matte medium.
Dylusions Ink Sprays are a really vibrant colorant! I made my background with Bubblegum Pink Dylusions Ink Spray and a variety of Ranger's Distress Inks and Archival Inks, plus lots of stamps and stencils.
The black letters are from the Sizzix 6 by 13.75-Inch Bigz Die, X-Large, Simply Said Alphabet, which I embossed in a Texture Fade before adhering to the page.
Mixed Media Art Membership Group
Have you heard about the Mixed Media Art Membership Group? It's a monthly membership that I host that includes facilitated learning through a Project of the Month (with closed-captioned video instruction), Themed Challenge of the Month, a live Zoom Create-Along Session where we all work on our art together, and lots of resources such as the Project Vault, Technique Vault and Resource Library. Best of all is the supportive and inspiring community we enjoy in our private Facebook Group and the gated private forum on the site where I host the videos and resources.
The group is only open for new members a few times a year, so please add your name to the waiting list to be the first to know when the doors open again. Click here to add your name to the waiting list.

I love that stamp too- and she is right where she belongs in your journal!
Love this color palette…and the way you created “spots” of light across the page. I’m learning to speak up…it’s not an easy thing to do. This image will stay with me and help me in that journey!
How cool – that rocks.
Glorious, Marjie – I would usually shy away from that shocking pink, but with the blues and scarlet it really captured my heart in my inbox this morning! Completely in love with the words too…
