Art journal with Stencil Girl products - Marjie Kemper

Hello, and almost…. Happy New Year!  The last week has been a mix of happy and incredibly sad news about a very dear friend, and I threw myself into my art journal over the weekend to get away from the sad part.

Stencils from many sources including two designed by my friend Jessica Sporn (StencilGirl Products).  Lots of layers of color from Ranger's Archival Inks to Dyan's Dylusions Ink Sprays to paints.  Some Washi tape too, plus gesso and gel medium through some of those stencils.

I wish you all a wonderful New Year and thank you so very much for your frequent visits, comments, encouragement, etc.  It means more than you can possibly know.

Nathalie Kalbach's online event Creative Jump Start 2014 begins on January 1st.  If you've not seen her brief teaser video…. check it out HERE.  I am so honored to be one of the 21 artists participating!  The entire event costs just $20 and you can save 20% by using coupon code “wingspan” (no quotes when you actually type it in) through January 1st.

Best wishes for you and yours for 2014.

Aw, Marjie. I’m sorry about the sad part. I’ll say a prayer for you. I hope it’s something that will heal over time. I’m going to use my journal in 2014 to help me through some losses as well. I’ve never really done that, so I’m hoping it helps. And, I absolutely can’t wait for CJS! I’m bound and determined to do every technique every day! Fondly, Tami
