If anything, I've been trying to organize/purge/etc.  However, last month I was tempted by new designs StencilGirl Products was promoting. I bought a bunch of their new stencils and when my package arrived …. ohhhhhhmmmmm… I was a very happy camper.  (Disclaimer – many moons ago I was on their Design Team but I am not receiving a penn

New supplies can spark new creativity

I haven't bought stencils for a really long time. It's not that I don't love them. I do. Just that I have a lot!

Having these new ones arrive was a joy. Exploring and experimenting just for fun! I worked this page with a variety of designs using ink, paint, and ink sprays.

The bold stencil on the right is actually a single strip (border) stencil that I re-positioned to cover a larger area.

It’s easy to see you had fun here with those lovely stencils. The depth and the colour tones are amazing. I’ve been making the most of another US work stint to stock up on some supplies, though I’ve been quite abstemious for me!

Um, cough, cough, this week…. I bought some Seth Apter dies and one of his stencils by the StencilGirl. I was watching the stencil being demoed by Leanndra of PaperArtsy and got hooked. Like you I have quite a stash now and when I buy something new I try to get rid of something really old that I know I will never use….. sounds like a plan, fingers crossed it works!

I love that plan, Anne. Will try to implement it over here!
