Kemper art journal 05052014

I'm joining in at Eclectic Paperie today with their “Stencils” challenge and at Simon Says Stamp with their ‘Five' challenge – my 5 elements are Dylusions Ink Sprays, paint, ink, stencils, and stamps.

The words are from Carolyn Dube's (StencilGirl Products) Uplifting Words stencil, and there are loads of other stencils here (old and new) from Tim Holtz, StencilGirl, Balzer Designs, Ronda Palazzari, and Prima.

Have you joined us for the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge yet?  You still have all week to pop in on Challenge #1!  This Mixed Media Mini Message Boards project of mine is a new class I will be teaching in Connecticut next month.  Guess what?  I'll bring every single supply – all you need to show up with is an apron.

Thanks for the visit today!

I adore your creation! I’m a color-holic and the blended tones you created made me drool (in a good way)! You obviously have a great eye for design and some serious skills when it comes to layering stencils and blending colors. I love how each of your creations is totally unique, too, yet they all go together beautifully. Truly inspiring and I’m so glad you shared this project with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!

LOVE the page (love all of your pages). I love how you used so many stencil layers, yet it doesn’t look too clustered. And the black honeycomb stencil in the corners are great. However, I am absolutely in love with your Mini Message Board! That is just the coolest!!!!! :-) xoxo
