Art Journal ~ At the End of the Day (Tutorial)
I’m out in Colorado now preparing for four classes I’m teaching this weekend, and wanted to share a quick art journal tutorial while I’m gone.
I created my background with Ranger’s Distress Inks.
Then added some small flower/grass stamping along the bottom.
The large flower stamp is from PaperArtsy. I didn’t want to get the impression of the short stem each time, so I slipped a piece of paper under the stamp before I stamped it.
Last step was stenciling. This time with a Ranger stencil designed by Dina Wakley. I used post-its to make sure I only got the words I wanted.

You’ll have lifetime access and can watch it as many times as you like. My class has seven segments devoted to Distress Inks, Distress Stains, Dylusions Ink Sprays, and more. I’m a Certifed Ranger Educator and love working with these products.

Beautiful colors, Marjie! Thanks for sharing how you used Dina’s stencil!
What a gorgeous sunset you created. It’s striking against the black ink. Hope your classes go well.
Gorgeous as always. Love that color combination.
A beautiful scene. I like that you stamped the grasses first, bringing create depth to the page.
It definitely would make a beautiful piece of wall art.
