Marjie Kemper art journal - Distress Inks - At the End of the Day

I'm out in Colorado now preparing for four classes I'm teaching this weekend, and wanted to share a quick art journal tutorial while I'm gone.

I created my background with Ranger's Distress Inks.

Then added some small flower/grass stamping along the bottom.

The large flower stamp is from PaperArtsy.  I didn't want to get the impression of the short stem each time, so I slipped a piece of paper under the stamp before I stamped it.

Last step was stenciling. This time with a Ranger stencil designed by Dina Wakley. I used post-its to make sure I only got the words I wanted.
