I’m out in Colorado now preparing for four classes I’m teaching this weekend, and wanted to share a quick art journal tutorial while I’m gone.
I created my background with Ranger’s Distress Inks.
Then added some small flower/grass stamping along the bottom.
The large flower stamp is from PaperArtsy. I didn’t want to get the impression of the short stem each time, so I slipped a piece of paper under the stamp before I stamped it.
Last step was stenciling. This time with a Ranger stencil designed by Dina Wakley. I used post-its to make sure I only got the words I wanted.
If you’d like to learn ink blending techniques, please check out my online class with Craftsy. You’ll have lifetime access and can watch it as many times as you like. My class has seven segments devoted to Distress Inks, Distress Stains, Dylusions Ink Sprays, and more. I’m a Certifed Ranger Educator and love working with these products.
