Apron Project 2017

Apron Project 2017

It’s time once again for the annual fundraised for Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter in Australia. The shelter provides temporary support and accommodations for women in times of crisis such as homelessness and domestic violence. I learned of it years ago from Sallianne McClelland, the Australian co-creator of the Art is You Mixed Media Art Retreats.  She lives in Australia and this shelter is very near and dear to her heart.

Who made the aprons?

Artist from all over the world have inked, painted and stitched aprons to donate to the auction. The theme is HOPE and there are over 100 aprons to choose from!
