I’m a New York mixed media artist who’s been blogging since January 2011. I enjoy teaching mixed media workshops nationwide and online.
I currently have an online mixed media workshop available through Craftsy.com, which helps me reach people all across the world. This is a 7-lesson workshop focusing on all sorts of techniques with distress inks, distress stains, and Dylusions ink sprays. Students obtain lifetime access and can watch the class as many times as they like, whenever and wherever they wish.
Beginning Spring 2017, I will be launching a series of online art classes as well as business courses designed for entrepreneurs, bloggers, artists, and individuals who wish to teach their passions to others.
I happily create in many mediums on a full-time basis, and my style is shabby chic with an emphasis on color, texture, and layering.
My love for paper and ink began when I was introduced to scrapbooking and stamping back in 1999. I still enjoy telling stories through my scrapbooks yet I’m also crazy about art journaling and mixed media.
I love teaching people how they can use variety of media to bring out their artistic side!
It’s been an honor to be published in Art Journaling, Craft Industry Today, Somerset Studio, Somerset Studio Gallery, Altered Couture, Cloth Paper Scissors Gifts, The Stampers’ Sampler, Take Ten and other publications.
I enjoy participating in online and print challenges, and I’m active in social media. I also maintain a YouTube channel with video tutorials. It’s a pleasure forming friendships with artists and crafters around the world, and it’s been my great fortune to meet many of them in person.
I’m proud to be a 2017 OttLite Ambassador. I’ve been using OttLites for over 15 years, so this is a super fit for me.
I’m interested in teaching, publishing, designing, and licensing. My Creative Resume lists my Design Team experience.
