The #100dayproject ~ Part 2
Welcome! Today I'm sharing the art from Days 21-40 of my participation in the #100dayproject on Instagram. A few weeks ago, I posted Days 1-20 here.
What's it all about?
The idea is to do something creative (anything, really) every day for 100 days. Then just pop the photo up on Instagram with a hashtag for the entire project (#100dayproject) as well as a unique hashtag for just your own projects (mine is #100daysofsmallsquares).
What materials am I using?
I've been working with Distress Inks, Dylusions Ink Sprays, and Distress Stains on small squares of paper that range between 2″ and 4″ in size. I always include a stamp (sometimes several), usually include stencils, and often add some heat embosssing.
It's been more than I imagined (she says, 40 days in!)
No repeats yet!
So far I haven't repeated a single stamp (besides background ones). We'll see if I can make it all the way through and still say that.
Mixed Media Art Membership Group
Have you heard about the Mixed Media Art Membership Group? It's a monthly membership that I host that includes facilitated learning through a Project of the Month (with closed-captioned video instruction), Themed Challenge of the Month, a live Zoom Create-Along Session where we all work on our art together, and lots of resources such as the Project Vault, Technique Vault and Resource Library. Best of all is the supportive and inspiring community we enjoy in our private Facebook Group and the gated private forum on the site where I host the videos and resources.
The group is only open for new members a few times a year, so please add your name to the waiting list to be the first to know when the doors open again. Click here to add your name to the waiting list.
Keep in Touch
Thanks so much for the visit. If you're new to my site, please connect with me in whatever way you like: sign up for my newsletter or find me on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
Have a great day!
Marjie
Wow, beautiful. I love your stamps. Just started getting into rubber stamping. Never have I seen such beautiful stamps like that! You did a beautiful job. Thanks for sharing.
[…] The #100dayproject has passed the halfway mark… thank goodness! Today I’m posting my projects from Days 41-60. If you’re interested, you can see the earlier posts here: Days 1-20 and Days 21-40. […]
I love the vibrant colors of your work.
Do you struggle finding time to create every day? I’m participating also and with a job and social activities it’s sometimes hard. But I feel my creativity growing and the community is inspiring. It’s totally worth it.
Hi, Angenita. Yes, I have struggled with this #100dayproject. I’m determined once I start something (stubborn) so I am sticking with it. The community is inspiring, as you said, and it’ll feel like quite the accomplishment when it’s over. I do work ahead sometimes to get a jump on it when time allows.
I love seeing your colorful creations. Beautiful!!
Nice to,see so much colorful joy here. Xox
Each piece is beautiful, Marjie!
