Mixed Media Art Membership Group

Have you heard about the Mixed Media Art Membership Group? It's a monthly membership that I host that includes facilitated learning through a Project of the Month (with closed-captioned video instruction), Themed Challenge of the Month, a live Zoom Create-Along Session where we all work on our art together, and lots of resources such as the Project Vault, Technique Vault and Resource Library. Best of all is the supportive and inspiring community we enjoy in our private Facebook Group and the gated private forum on the site where I host the videos and resources.

The group is only open for new members a few times a year, so please add your name to the waiting list to be the first to know when the doors open again. Click here to add your name to the waiting list.

I’m so impressed that you’ve been doing this for four years, Marjie. I have tried Yellow Daisy’s 61-day ICAD challenge and that was a struggle; only managed it one year (trying again this year though!). What have you discovered during these 100 day adventures? Is there something you notice about your art or the process of creating?

    • Marjie Kemper on May 29, 2019 at 4:17 pm

Great questions, Julie. I find that I truly like the daily push to create something, however small, but I do find the actual small surfaces more challenging than a canvas or journal. It’s tough scaling down to 3″.

      • Sue on June 1, 2019 at 11:50 pm

So these are 3″ round? I wondered what size they were, thanks Marjie.

        • Marjie Kemper on June 3, 2019 at 2:33 pm

The ‘official’ size of artist trading coins is 2/5″, Sue. Mine are a mix of that size as well as 3″ rounds.
