Artsy Index Cards, Part 3
Welcome to the third installment of this 100-Day project. I've been creating an index card each day for my part in it. Click on these links to see the earlier posts: Days 1-20 and Days 21-40. I decided to mix it up a bit with this third batch, so I changed the orientation to a vertical position.
Are you participating in the 100 Day Project? The gist is to do something creative for 100 days in a row and post it on Instagram under a unique hashtag. Mine is #100daysofartsyindexcards.
I am at the point of being tired of the commitment, but I know I'll feel good that I stick with it. I enjoy using a mix of products and techniques, including paint, ink, stamps, and stencils.
My diecut machine has been getting some use and lately I've been making the cards more dimensional with extra layers of paper and chipboard.
I've also used my Gelli Plate on a number of these cards. I love making monoprints and need to remind myself to do it more often.
I was also able to pick up some new stamps recently. While I love my oldies-but-goodies, it's nice to have some new images to play with to try to keep it fresh.
Mixed Media Art Membership Group
I host the Mixed Media Art Membership Group, a monthly membership that includes facilitated learning through a Project of the Month (with closed-captioned video instruction), Themed Challenge of the Month, a live Zoom Create-Along Session where we all work on our art together, and lots of resources such as the Project Vault, Technique Vault and Resource Library. Best of all is the supportive and inspiring community we enjoy in our private Facebook Group and the gated private forum on the site where I host the videos and resources.
The group is only open for new members a few times a year, so please add your name to the waiting list to be the first to know when the doors open again. Click here to add your name to the waiting list.
