Tuesday’s Tutorials, Week 15 ~ Featuring Janka Mampouya

Tuesday's Tutorials Weekly Mixed Media Blog Series (Marjie Kemper)

Welcome to the 15th installment of my Tuesday’s Tutorials blog series, where every week I share a post featuring an art tutorial created by a different artist from around the world. This series has grown from a year-long blog series called Tuesday’s Texture that I completed in June. You can find out more about the transition from one series to the next in this post.

This beautiful altered tin comes from Janka Mampouya, who lives in Namestovo, Slovakia. I’ve never done of these, and I really want to after examining this one!

What a transformation she’s made ~ do you see all those gorgeous beads inside?  Janka’s posted this tutorial on the Mixed Media blog. You can find more beautiful art on her own blog as well.

I hope you enjoy this weekly feature and that it introduces you to techniques that inspire you, and to artists who may not yet be on your radar. I’ve combined all the art from the two series in one Photo Gallery for easy viewing. You can also see all the art from the two series on my Pinterest Board dedicated to this topic.

Have a great week!
